Mater Dei Early Intervention Program

Mater Dei Early Intervention Program (also known as 'MDEIP') offers centre-based and outreach Early Intervention Programs for babies, toddlers and children from birth to 8 years of age who have been assessed with Developmental Delay and/or a diagnosed syndrome and/or medical condition.

MDEIP offers a suite of services including:

  • Educational Support
  • Learn to Play Groups
  • Therapy Learning Groups
  • Early Learning Groups
  • Transition To School Programs
  • Family Support Groups and Networking
  • Speech Pathology assessments and reports
  • Occupational Therapy assessments and reports
  • Psychometric assessments and reports
  • Behavioural Intervention
  • Pastoral Support
  • Workshops and Seminars

The MDEIP Team

The MDEIP team of professionals, led by the Director of Services, comprises Early Childhood Teachers, Teachers Assistants, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Clerical Assistants and a contracted Psychologist.
